Proudly from Baja California, passionate about good food, hospitality, education and a firm believer that the combination of teaching, cooking, and service is the perfect recipe for a complete experience. With an L.G. from IGBC, a degree in Psychopedagogy, Nutrition, and Gastronomy from the Ibero-American University, and an MBA in High Business Management from Cetys University, Carmen brings together her two great passions—Education and Gastronomy—guiding several generations of students in achieving their entrepreneurial goals. Along the way, she discovered her love for sweets and bread, specializing in sourdough bread and classic pastries. She is the owner of the Baja California Culinary Institute in the beautiful city of Tijuana. Creator of the Karmel Gastronomy brand, which offers consulting services for food and beverage, training, and both in-person and online courses at a local and national level. She is also the owner of her gastronomic venture, Restaurant REMITENTE, offering a cuisine of memories and tastes from Baja.
