DATES + LOCATIONS

The San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival takes place November 3-10, 2024 across San Diego. Your ticket confirmation email will list the event location, date and time. The Grand Tasting takes place on Saturday, November 9 from 11 am – 3 pm at the Port of San Diego’s Embarcadero Marina Park North.

WHAT'S INCLUDED WITH YOUR TICKET

All San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival events are all-inclusive, unless otherwise noted. Once inside Grand Tasting and Grand Fiesta venues, tastings are provided free of charge to all attendees for their ticketed area. Grand Decant does not have food vendors except in VIP, but does offer food for purchase for general admission ticket-holders. All tickets-holders can freely roam the general admission grounds and taste away, however only VIP ticket-holders have access to VIP tents and tastings. Festival dinners have preset menus and all menu items are included. Parking, valet, and transportation fees are at the ticket-holders discretion and expense. Any art, merchandise, or retail items for sale are not included in the price of the ticket.

TICKET REFUNDS, TRANSFERS + UPGRADES

We do not offer refunds for any tickets. However, your ticket is transferrable to anyone 21+ with proper identification. You do not need to update the name on the ticket or contact our team. You simply give them the ticket. Please note that the ticket will only scan once, allowing one entry per ticket with no re-entry. To upgrade your ticket, please contact our team before the event with your order information and explain what you would like to do. We will do our best to help get you into the event at the level you want. Please note that if an event is sold out, we may not be able to make and changes.

MULTI-DAY TICKETS

When you purchase a multi-day ticket, you will only receive one ticket with one QR code. You will scan the same ticket at each event to gain access.

COVID PROTOCOL

San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival’s first priority is the safety and health of our attendees, sponsors, entertainers, production crew, volunteers, and staff. We are working closely with our venue and the Health Department to ensure that the San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival in November will be a fun and entertaining experience that is safe for everyone. As such, all attendees will be required to abide by our COVID-19 Protocol, which will evolve as we get closer to the event and may include any or all of the following measures as necessary and required by local, state, and federal regulations: liability waivers, face coverings, social distancing, non-invasive temperature checks, testing, or proof of vaccination. San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival reserves the right to modify and add requirements at its sole discretion. We will update this page with those protocols as we get closer to the event. Cooperation with published health and safety protocols on-site will be required to enter and participate in the Festival.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

The San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival is committed to the safety and security of all patrons in the park. Bags will be restricted to small purses, totes and drawstring bags only. Backpacks are prohibited. All bags will be searched before entry. Attendees should be prepared to have their bags searched each time they enter the festival and should plan for extra time to get through security. Guns, knives, or items to be deemed a security risk are not permitted.

CHILDREN + PETS

All San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival events are 21 and older. No children, infants, or pets are allowed to attend any festival event for the safety of all parties – no exceptions. Service animals required by the use of an attendee’s disability are welcome.

WEATHER

Our events happen rain or shine. We do not cancel.

PARKING + DIRECTIONS

We strongly suggest utilizing ride-share apps and recommend that you do not drive if you plan to consume alcohol at our events. If you must drive/park, the below information should help you find your way to the Grand Tasting at the Port of San Diego’s Embarcadero Marina Park North.

FROM NORTH:

Take Front Street Exit from I-5 S, continue on Front St. Merge on to Front St, in .5 miles turn right on to W. Broadway, in .3 miles turn left onto Kettner Blvd, keep right. Embarcadero Marina Park North will be on the right.

FROM SOUTH:

Take Cesar E. Chavez Parkway Exit from I-5 N, merge on to Kearney Ave, in .4 miles turn left onto Cesar E. Chavez Parkway, in 1.6 miles turn right onto E Harbor D, in .3 miles turn left onto Kettner Blvd, keep right. Embarcadero Marina Park North will be on the right.

PARKING:

We have negotiated a special $10 all-day rate with Ace Parking at a lot just 5 blocks away from the Grand Tasting.

Limited Metered Parking – There is limited metered parking available on many of the surface streets in the area. All meters are $1.25 hour; Check max times before paying the meter.

IMPORTANT: Give yourself plenty of time to find parking! San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival does not own or operate the parking lots or meters. Listed parking lots are public Rates and hours subject to change without notice.

CHARITY

Proceeds from auctions at the San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival benefit culinary arts, hospitality, and enology scholarships awarded by Fast Forward Futures. Past charity partners have included: the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, Berry Good Night Night Foundation, Kitchnse for Good, and the Women’s Wine Alliance. Each year, thousands of dollars are awarded to professionals and students in San Diego and throughout the nation to further their education in culinary and enology arts. To date, the Festival has raised over $595,000 in scholarship funds.

LOST + FOUND

After the Festival, please email admin@sandiegowineclassic.com to file a claim for lost item(s) and we will do our best to match lost items back to their owner. Valuables will be held for 30 days and then donated to a local charity. Fast Forward Events, World of Wine Events, it’s officers and agents will not be held liable for any unclaimed items.
