Dr. Cindy J Lin is the CEO and cofounder of Hey Social Good, a social impact data company working to revolutionize social good data for people, planet, and profit. Dr Cindy J Lin is an environmental ecologist and data scientist, and a national expert on pollution’s negative impacts on water, habitat and human health. She previously worked at the US EPA, where she designed national standards, conducted cutting edge research, and implemented protection and sustainability policies to meet global and national environmental standards. Dr. Lin is also the President of the San Diego Environmental Film Festival where she works with artists and filmmakers to tell stories about our people and planet to inspire awe and action. Dr. Lin was the US Regional Expert on Clean Water, US EPA’s Top Science Policy Advisor on US Climate Change National Work Group, and US Embassy China Water Advisor. She received her Doctorate in Environmental Science & Engineering, MS in Environmental Chemistry, and BS in Biology, from UCLA.
