Madhushree Ghosh is the daughter of refugees and an immigrant. She uses food as a social justice tool to start conversations to build the community we want to belong to. Author of the award-winning food narrative memoir, Khabaar: An Immigrant Journey of Food, Memory and Family, Madhushree is the founder of KhabaarCo, a global literary salon and supper club hosting conscious travel, and retreats around culinary sustainability, and conversations on social justice, equity, immigration and belonging featuring chefs, farmers, authors and activists. Her work has been Pushcart-nominated and published in The New York Times, Best American Essays in Food Writing, the LA Times, the Washington Post, Vogue India, San Diego Magazine and others.
