At the San Diego Bay Wine + Food Festival, we love adventure just as much as we love food! Though travel plans are still on hold, you can take your taste buds on a trip around the world right here in America’s Finest City. We’ve compiled a list of places where you can eat global and drive local!

A local Thai favorite is Bahn Thai in Hillcrest or University Heights. Their menu features traditional Thai food and new, game-changing dishes. Bahn Thai is open for takeout and delivery Monday though Thursday from 11 AM to 10 PM, Friday through Saturday from 11 AM to 11 PM, and Sunday from 4 PM to 10 PM.

Travel to Italy for dinner at Buona Forchetta! This Encinitas favorite serves authentic Neapolitan pizza and Italian cuisine sure to transport your taste buds across the globe for a night. They are open for dine-in and takeout Monday through Friday from 12 PM to 3 PM and 5 PM to 10 PM, Saturday from 12 PM to 10 PM, and Sunday from 12 PM to 9PM.

Costa Brava will give you a taste of Spain with their traditional tapas and jars of delicious sangria. This Pacific Beach restaurant is offering dine-in and takeout Monday though Thursday from 4 AM to 10 PM, Friday through Saturday from 11 AM to 12 AM, and Sunday from 11 PM to 10 PM.

For a taste of East African cuisine, head to Muzita Abyssinian Bistro in University Heights. For over a decade, they have been a community staple with mouthwatering Ethiopian and Eritrean food. They are open for dine-in, takeout, and delivery Monday though Thursday from 5 PM to 9 PM, Friday through Sunday from 3 PM to 9 PM.

Want to head into the Southern Hemisphere? Rei Do Gado, a luxe Brazilian steakhouse in the heart of downtown, is known for perfectly cooked meat and an extensive salad bar. They are currently offering dine-in, takeout, and delivery Monday through Thursday from 4 PM to 10 PM and Friday through Sunday from 11 AM to 10 PM.
