Two Delicious Days. One Waterfront Weekend.

There’s a new way to experience the San Diego Food + Wine Festival this November and it brings the full weekend to life along the San Diego Bay.

For 2026, the Festival introduces an expanded Two-Day Grand Weekend Presented by Southwest Airlines®, bringing Grand Tasting and Grand Fiesta together side by side at The Port of San Diego’s Embarcadero Marina Park North. The result is a more immersive, more expansive way to experience the chefs, flavors, and culture that define the San Diego–Baja region.

Taking place November 6-8, the weekend reflects what makes San Diego one of the most dynamic culinary destinations in the country – where coastal waters, local farms, nearby ranches, and cross-border traditions all converge.

More to Taste. More to Explore.

At the heart of the Festival, the newly expanded Grand Weekend is designed as two distinct days, each offering a different perspective on the region’s food and beverage culture, all within one seamless waterfront setting.

Bringing both experiences together creates more space to explore, more chefs and brands to discover, and more moments that invite you to stay a little longer. It also allows guests to experience the full range of what the Festival has become – a celebration of place, creativity, and connection.

Saturday: Grand Tasting

The iconic experience that started it all returns to the waterfront with hundreds of chefs, restaurants, wineries, breweries, and craft spirits producers.

Our iconic Grand Tasting is an afternoon of discovery where chef-driven bites, standout wines, craft cocktails, and the flavors of the region unfold one sip and one bite at a time. From familiar favorites to new discoveries, it’s a walk-around experience that rewards curiosity at every turn.

Sunday: Grand Fiesta

Sunday brings a shift in energy with Grand Fiesta, a vibrant, Latin-inspired celebration rooted in the connection between San Diego and Baja.

Now expanded into a larger waterfront setting, Grand Fiesta offers a more immersive cultural experience than ever before, with more chefs, restaurants, and beverage producers participating across the day. From Mexican wines and spirits to bold, chef-driven interpretations of coastal and borderland cuisine, the experience comes alive through music, art, and the unmistakable spirit of the region.

A Weekend That Reflects the Region

Together, the two days create a fuller expression of San Diego’s culinary identity – one shaped by its geography, its ingredients, and its people.

More than a series of tastings, the San Diego Food + Wine Festival continues to serve as a platform for the individuals behind the food and drink – from fishermen and farmers to winemakers, brewers, and chefs – who bring the region’s flavors to life.

“We’re fortunate to have extraordinary chefs, an abundance of fresh local ingredients, and a culinary culture that’s deeply influenced by our connection to Baja,” said Michelle Metter, Co-Founder of the San Diego Food + Wine Festival. “The expanded Grand Weekend gives us the space to celebrate all of that, bringing together chefs, producers, and guests along the San Diego Bay for a weekend that truly reflects the flavors, creativity, and soul of this region.”

The Festival Weekend Begins

The Festival kicks off Friday, November 6 with SDFW Opening Night: Icons + Legends, a curated tasting experience featuring award-winning chefs and world-class producers in an elevated evening setting.

From there, the weekend unfolds along the waterfront – two distinct days, one connected experience.
