About
Anne is currently the Associate Director at WILDCOAST, a nonprofit organization that conserves coastal and marine ecosystems and addresses climate change through natural solutions. Anne works closely with the Executive Director to support staff in all conservation efforts in the U.S. and in Mexico. Having non-profit, public, and private-sector experience, Anne brings a unique set of skills to WILDCOAST. Awards include “40 under 40 Emerging Leader” issued by the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce, 2021. U.S. State Department Award for Corporate Excellence (ACE) for work with Taylor Guitars in Cameroon, 2014. She holds a B.A. in Biology from Oberlin College and a Master’s Degree of Environmental Science and Management (MESM) from the Bren School at UC-Santa Barbara and recently gave a TEDx talk in San Diego on the importance of ecosystem restoration. In her time not at work, she sings and plays bass and guitar in local bands and enjoys taking her dog to the beach. She loves to bake, and sits on the board at Project [BLANK] and the Escondido Creek Conservancy.
