
Bianca Castro-Cerio
Bianca Castro-Cerio is a leading figure in gastronomy and pastry in Baja California. Originally trained in business administration, she followed her passion for pastry and founded Biscotti’s Repostería Fina with her Italian grandmother, later expanding to ByBiaNca Cakes and Catering.
With over 25 years of experience, she has gained national and international recognition, earning awards such as Best Pastry Chef (2016–2017), Leader of Baja California (2019), and a 2023 recognition in Dubai for promoting Mexican gastronomy. She has also been honored for her support of the medical sector during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Bianca has participated in numerous events, festivals, and competitions, including major harvest celebrations in Valle de Guadalupe, and her creations have reached the Vatican. She has trained at prestigious culinary institutions and with renowned chefs, continuously refining her craft.
She is also known for pioneering grilled desserts, competing in national and international BBQ events in the U.S., and creating the largest grilled dessert in Latin America, served to over 7,000 people.
Today, Bianca designs custom cakes, consults for restaurants, and offers catering and pairing experiences across Mexico. She is a culinary advisor for the 250 Best Restaurants of Mexico and a passionate ambassador of Baja California’s culinary scene.
