A California native, Chef Elijah began his culinary journey as a dishwasher at the age of 14. His passion and dedication for cooking has taken him from his hometown of Sacramento to San Francisco, Las Vegas, and ultimately New York City, working in some of the most respected kitchens in the country, including Spago, Robuchon, Restaurant Daniel, Gunter Seeger, and Per Se. Most recently, Chef Elijah served as Chef de Cuisine at L’Abeille in Tribeca.
After nearly a decade in New York, Chef Elijah has returned to California to open his first restaurant. His cooking is deeply connected to the land and people of the region, celebrating local farmers, fishermen, and artisans, while also reflecting the techniques and philosophies passed down from his European and Asian chef mentors.
