Jesus “Chuy” Gaytan and Marcela Gaytan are the husband-and-wife team behind Chuy’s Taco Shop, a beloved San Diego taco shop known for flavorful Mexican food, warm hospitality, and a strong connection to the local community.

Chuy brings his passion for food and authentic flavors to the kitchen, while Marcela plays an integral role in the business, helping lead operations, community involvement, and the creative vision behind the brand. Together, they have built Chuy’s Taco Shop into a local favorite and a destination for delicious food and memorable experiences.

Chuy’s Taco Shop has been featured on Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives with Guy Fieri and recognized by Yelp as one of the Top 100 Places to Eat.
