Judy Beltrano

Judy Beltrano is Executive Chef and partner of Moon Rabbit in Washington DC. After graduating culinary school with a degree in nutrition, she shifted gears and started working in restaurants. Being classically French trained, she has worked her way up the ranks in many DC restaurants such Marcel’s, Wildwood Kitchen, and Momofuku CCDC. She focuses on using her heritage and training to build connections with people and bring Asian American food and culture to the forefront of the culinary world.

As a woman in the culinary industry, she sees the importance of mentorship for others that are looking for different pathways of success. What she loves most about being in this industry is the connections made with people, from guests as well as staff, and sharing a common goal and passion. When she is not at the restaurant, she enjoys going to see live music, spending time in nature or traveling to new places.
