Chef Martin Guerrero is originally from a village called Concordia in Chiapas, Mexico. He developed a love for food at a young age when he used to help his mother sell tamales, homemade bread, and other homemade foods that she told to make money for food for the family. Martin is the 3rd of 7 children and came to the United States in August of 1996 to pursue his dreams. Upon arriving in the US, Martin began working as a dishwasher in a Chinese restaurant and attending English classes in the evening. Martin Guerrero Executive Chef His passion for food only continued to grow as he continued to work in various restaurants and food cultures. He worked his way up in the food industry from dishwasher to food prep worker to sous chef and eventually to Executive Chef. Martin is proud to embody his mother’s motto with is career: “Love what you do & do what you love”.
