With 22 years in the culinary industry, Rick Daniels brings both experience and passion to the kitchen. Originally from El Paso, Texas, he attended culinary school in Austin and began his professional career there before moving to San Diego in 2007. After working in multiple restaurants across the city, he joined Huntress as Chef de Cuisine. Rick’s love for cooking began as a child, inspired by watching his grandmother in the kitchen. He values the camaraderie and energy of the restaurant environment and encourages aspiring chefs to keep learning and reading as much as they can to grow in the craft.
