Calling all red wine lovers! National Red Wine Day is here and it’s the perfect excuse to kick back, relax, and open your favorite bottle on a Friday night.

At the San Diego Bay Wine + Food Festival, we know you love reds just as much as we do! Check out our list of binge-worthy shows for wine lovers to enjoy while you sit and sip. If you’d rather get some fresh air and support our local beverage industry, below are some great San Diego wine bars that are operating outdoors.

Romeo & Julieta Wine Cafe
If you like your red wine with Eastern European-inspired dishes like Pierogis or house-made Schnitzel, Romeo & Julieta Wine Bar is the perfect place to celebrate National Red Wine Day! Their patio is open from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Seating is limited, so call to make a reservation. Romeo & Julieta Wine Bar is also open for take-out orders if you’d rather enjoy from home.

 

Rose Wine Bar
For natural wine and handmade food, head to Rose Wine Bar. They have a great selection of wines including some light red wines that are sure to satisfy your cravings. Rose Wine Bar’s hours are Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday and Friday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 9/8:00 PM. They are currently open for pickup, delivery, and patio dining.

 

Village Vino
The patio at Village Vino is the perfect place to sip on your favorite red or white. Village Vino’s hours are 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday and Saturday. Call to make a reservation!

 

Wet Stone Wine Bar & Cafe
Enjoy outdoor dining in a safe and calming environment for National Red Wine Day at Wet Stone Wine Bar & Cafe. They serve globally inspired plates and adventurous beer and wine menus. Wet Stone Wine Bar & Cafe hours are Tuesday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Saturday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Sunday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
