San Diego Latino Film Festival (March 14-24)

The San Diego Latino Film Festival is a 10 day celebration of Latino Cinema, Arts, and Culture. The festival will present over 60 programs from Latin America and the United States as well as Opening Night and Closing Night Parties, the Annual Sabor Latino – Food, Beer & Wine Festival, Q&A sessions with visiting filmmakers, free student screenings, and more. Audiences will have the rare opportunity to meet filmmakers and actors from all over the world.

Mano a Mano rumbo al Bocuse d’Or (March 16)

Support the Mexican team heading to the Bocuse d’Or Americas, a biennial world chef championship and the most rigorous culinary competition in the world. ShamROCK St. Paddy’s Day Music & Beer Festival (March 16)

Tradition returns as an authentic Irish celebration takes over the streets of San Diego’s historic Gaslamp Quarter district.  Heading back to its roots, the 28th Annual ShamROCK provides a full lineup of the nation’s top Irish & Celtic Rock bands, iconic tribute performances and Irish dancers galore!

Marisi x Friends of James Beard Dinner (March 20)

On Wednesday, March 20th, Marisi proudly presents the first ever Friends of James Beard Dinner in San Diego — an exclusive event dedicated to supporting the esteemed James Beard Foundation. This lively evening begins at 6 PM with a drink reception, followed by a five course meal with wine pairings showcasing all that San Diego has to offer. Executive Chef Cameron Ingle is joined by a few of the many local farms Marisi works with to help tell the story of Spring in San Diego.

A portion of ticket proceeds from this event will go directly towards the James Beard Foundation. No-shows or cancellations less than 7 days in advance will be non-refundable.

Fiesta Della Donna at Cucina Urbana (March 20)

Celebrate Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day in March with San Diego’s celebrated female chefs as they come together to host a charitable, five-course dinner at CUCINA urbana in Bankers Hill on Wednesday, March 20. Hosted by San Diego’s consummate restaurateur Tracy Borkum of Urban Kitchen Group and benefitting the Center for Community Solutions, CUCINA urbana’s Festa Della Donna is a dining experience not to be missed with each course expertly paired with world-class wines and spirits. A portion of proceeds from the event will benefit the non-profit partner’s mission to end relationship and sexual violence by providing emergency domestic violence shelters and other life-saving resources

Mainly Mozart Culinary Concerto (March 22)

On March 22, Mainly Mozart will bring together 24 internationally renowned chefs to collaborate on an unforgettable evening of music and culinary delight. Award winning songwriter, vocalist, violinist, and the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest winner Alex Rybak performs with a group of soon to be announced musical collaborators.

Sabor Latino – Food, Beer & Spirits Fest (March 23)

Celebrate Latino flavors and culture at Sabor Latino on Saturday, March 23 at Mission Valley Mall.
