Cohn Restaurant Group Hosts ‘Cohnchella’ – A Festival within a Festival at the San Diego Bay Wine and Food Festival Grand Tasting

Cohn Restaurant Group showed out with an extraordinary activation at the Grand Tasting during the 19th Annual San Diego Bay Wine and Food Festival. As attendees crossed the threshold under a dazzling disco ball, they found themselves immersed in ‘Cohnchella,’ a festival within a festival, that featured gastronomic delights and libations from some of San Diego’s favorite restaurants, along with exciting interactive activities.

Cohn restaurants served good vibes and great bites, including esquites shrimp tacos from Coasterra, steak tartar from 333 Pacific, and a smoked prime beef brisket with mac & cheese from BBQ Land (Coaster Saloon, Del’s Hideout, and Pioneer BBQ).  Daou Vineyards made lasting memories with a 360-degree camera and wine tasting, CRG Wines poured their private label wines, El Tesoro made classic margaritas and palomas, Los Javis offered mezcal tastings, and Karl Strauss served their classic local beers.

Cohnchella went beyond the culinary experience and truly embodied what it means to be a festival. Guests were kept enthralled with a lively DJ, temporary tattoos, a bracelet making station, and lounge.

Cohn Restaurant Group, led by the Cohn family, has grown from a single diner in 1981 to 25 culinary concepts across San Diego, Long Beach, and Maui. The Cohns prioritize hospitality for their guests and 1,500+ employees, who all share a commitment to superior service. Cohn Restaurant Group has garnered various awards, including being honored as one of America’s Top 25 Restaurant Groups by Nation’s Restaurant News.
