Bernard Retornaz’ professional involvement with wines began in 1984 after graduating from Electronics School and spending seven years in International Sales and Marketing.
His first experiences was with MAISON LABOURE-ROI based in Nuits-Saint-Georges, France. Bernard was an Export Sales Manager for three and a half years while living in Beaune, Rance.
In 1988, he became Vice President of J.C. BOISSET WINES U.S.A. Inc., based in San Francisco. They are an importer of fine European wines and a producer for CHRISTOPHE and LYETH VINEYARDS from California.
In September 1991, he had the privilege of being hired by MAISON LOUIS LATOUR as their President for their US subsidiary Louis Latour Inc.
